Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-30 (draft, not yet in effect)
1. What Stallcrest is
Stallcrest connects buyers to sellers (“vendors”) within a physical market and, in later stages, across markets. Vendors create storefronts and list products or services; buyers browse and place orders. Stallcrest is the platform operator, not a party to the sale between a buyer and a vendor unless stated otherwise.
The Stallcrest brand is owned by Solvelean Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company number 17514591), registered office: 4 Norfolk Street, Cambridge, England, CB1 2LF. In Africa, Stallcrest is operated by Solvelean Africa Limited, registered in Nigeria (RC number to be confirmed), registered office: to be confirmed, which provides the service there, receives payments through the payment processors, and is the party these terms are with.
2. Accounts
You need an account to buy or sell on Stallcrest. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with a Nigerian mobile number and one-time codes we text to it. You're responsible for keeping your password and codes confidential (we will never ask you for a code) and for activity under your account. Deactivating your account (Account settings → Danger zone) is reversible via "Forgot password" or by signing in with a code sent to your phone; permanently deleting your account is not.
3. Vendor storefronts
New storefronts are reviewed before they become visible to buyers. Stallcrest may approve, reject, or later suspend a storefront at its discretion, including for suspected fraud, prohibited items, or misuse of the platform.
4. Payments
Orders are paid through a third-party payment provider (Stripe, Flutterwave, Paystack, or OPay) or arranged directly with the vendor via WhatsApp. Stallcrest does not store your card details — they're handled entirely by the payment provider you choose.
5. Termination
You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from Account settings. Stallcrest may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
6. Your data
How we handle personal data, including identity documents and biometric data vendors submit for verification, is described in our Privacy Policy, written for the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
